Fast Company: DotCom Bill of Rights

In June of the year 2000, I was commissioned by Fast Company magazine to write a five-part series on Worker’s Rights in the New Economy.  Widely quoted from coast to coast in other publications, the series brought me into contact with many folks in the dot-com world who also thought that the lack of worker’s organization within Silicon Valley and elsewhere was a time bomb waiting to go off.  During the same period, I was following a couple of underground publications, namely “fuckedcompany.com” and “NetSlaves.com,” the latter of which published a memoir piece of mine called “Diary of a ‘Net Whore,” which can be found in my book “The Collapse of Time: Confessions of a Quantum Humanist.”
